Little Rascals Development

I am working on my next sculpture, called "Rascals".  It is a humorous take on a couple of lions I saw in Tanzania.  We first saw them lounging in the tall grass mid-day, when suddenly they popped up to a sitting position, one next to the other.  They were spying a zebra, trying to determine what they should do about it.  I decided to make them look the way the zebra might see them, looking hungry and full of mischief.

I have roughed in the heads more to the proportions of lions, and a little expression. There is a lot of work to do in their expressions. I have added a bunch of loose skin around the back lion’s foreleg; I think he is going to be "thicker" than the front lion. Still debating on how much mane to give them. Young male lions only have hair around their necks.
