A peaceful moment as a young woman gives thanks and praise to God the Father for all of the wonderful blessings He has given her.
In Paul’s letter to the church in Thessalonica, among other things he exhorts them to live a Christ-like life:
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Prayer encourages and strengthens us. It keeps us connected to our Lord such that we can grow in the Spirit and live in the light.
